How to create a reconciliation percentage dashboard from the reconciliation diagram?

Step 1 - Select edit reconciliation

Step 2 - Double click on Visualization

Remember

You must configure the Date and Value columns before generating the new dashboard, since it is necessary to tell the tool which columns to take as a reference to filter and calculate the results of your reconciliations.

In addition, those columns will be identified in your next reconciliations.

Step 3 - Dashboard display

Simetrik will automatically redirect you to the reconciliation percentage dashboard, where you can see the metrics for each resource used in your reconciliation.

Step 4 - Collapse or expand the board (optional)

You can click the button to expand or collapse the results of the percentage board, thus hiding or making this information visible.

Reconciliation percentage dashboards

Filters and displays

At the top of the dashboard, you will find a bar to add date filters on which you can narrow down your results to the date range you want. In addition, you will have the Add a visualization button to add other types of visualizations to your dashboard.

Remember

Transactions that do not have a date will not be reflected in these percentages.

Percentages

You will find the overall reconciliation percentages, which take into account percentages in terms of number of records and reconciled and unreconciled values, over the total number of records and total value to be reconciled, respectively.

It will also show you whether there were adjusted records, which refer to unreconciled records that were adjusted because they are not expected to be associated with a counterpart source record.

This will allow you to evaluate the result of your reconciliation from the two sources.

Reconciliation Summary

You will have two summary tables that show the historical behavior of the reconciliation in terms of Source A and Source B.

Each table will show for each date on which a reconciliation has been executed the detail of the total reconcilable value, the value that reconciled, the difference between these two values, the number of reconcilable records, the number of records that reconciled and the difference between these.

Reconciliation detail

You will have a table that shows the detail of all the records that were reconciled with their corresponding counterpart, that is to say, it is a table of the successful reconciliations of your process.

Unreconciled Transactions

You will find two tables of unreconciled transactions that will show you the detail of the records that did not reconcile from your Source A and Source B. In case all items have reconciled, these tables will be empty.

Remember

You can download all tables in .xlsx, .xls or .csv formats.

In the Reconciliations menu, in the finished reconciliations section, click on the Edit option on the reconciliation in which you want to generate the reconciliation percentage dashboard.

Double click on the visualization icon .

In the Dashboard menu, click on the Create a Dashboard button. An option will open for you to name your board, then click Create a new dashboard.
