Accounts: Accounts are spaces intended within the tool to contain all the workspaces of a client.
Workspaces: Workspaces act as containers or partitions to group different processes or teams that companies have. An account can contain several workspaces, where they can be divided by nature of the use cases or work teams.
Set of permissions assigned to workspaces or accounts. Access can be granted to the entire account, including all workspaces or to specific workspaces, depending on the need.
The Supervisor is the role with most capacities as it can create, edit and exclude sources or reconciliations. The only difference with the Administrator property, is that the Administrator is the only role that is able to give access to different users and assign the roles.
The Builder is able to do some editions in Simetrik but not all of them as the Supervisor, for example, they can not empty a reconciliation and reprocess it.
The Operator has les capabilities, they can apply filters, navegate through the reconciliations, however they can not edit or configure them.
The Viewer is only able to see the information that is uploaded in Simetrik.
By default any new profile created will be assigned with a Viewer profile, to change this assignment you must do the following.
Access the main screen where you can see the accounts and workspaces. Locate the account or workspace in which you want to change a role.
For the account: by clicking on the account gear you can change for this user the role of all workspaces included in the account. This is the only way to assign an Administrator role. Then a list of all the users that have access to the entire account will be displayed by clicking again on the gears you can assign the role.
Workspace: By clicking on the workspace gear, you can change the role for this workspace only by clicking on the drop-down list.
Click on the gear icon of the account or workspace.
