This feature allows adding columns to a source based on one or more crossing criteria with another source, which facilitates the enrichment of the sources used in the reconciliation processes.
Rich font: An enriched source is one that contains information that was not originally part of it. Through a data enrichment process, columns, data or information that are now part of this source are added
To start creating a VlookUP you must locate the feature. To do this, you must select the source that you want to enrich with one or more columns.
When you open the table at View Table, you will find at the top of it the button that will take you to Create VlookUP.
Once you have selected the feature, you will see a a Type-form where we ask you in which source are the columns you want to add? To solve the question, select Create or select a source, (this source must have the columns you want to add).
You must choose the columns of the selected source that you want to add to the main source.
Remember that you can select more than one column with the + button as you can see in the table above.
Here you must select the criteria that will be associated to the original source with the source from which you want to extract the columns selected in the previous step.
Remember that the formats of the columns you are comparing must be the same, so if they are different you will get a yellow alert (as you can see in the Alert 1 image)
This alert will notify you of the following: "The data types do not match. Change the format of the columns to one that matches."
Once you have the fields of both sources selected and configured correctly, you will be able to save your configuration and view the results in Save and view table.
¡With these 3 simple steps you will be able to create a VlookUP successfully!
These columns can be identified with the following icon in the detail of the source.
You can edit or add a new VlookUP by clicking at the VlookUP feature again there you can:
View your created settings

Step 2. Here you will be able to add fields in the selected VlookUP, edit the crossover keys of the VlookUP, delete the crossover keys and add crossover keys. With this you will be able to save the configuration settings again at the Save and view table button.
