Crossover Types Configuration

You can choose the type of match you want for your reconciliations, be it a 1:1 or N:N behavior.

What are crossover types used for?

The match types will determine the behavior of the records within your reconciliations. You can choose between the following:

  • 1:1 Behavior: This is the behavior that Simetrik will have by default. This implies that each record of Source A will reconcile with a record of Source B, in other words, each record will have only one counterpart.

  • N:N Behavior: In this case, the games will be able to reconcile more than once. This behavior occurs in Cumulative Groupings or in Collisions.

How to configure crossover types?

Step 1 - Set up the crossover

In the reconciliation settings, select the Configure Crossover option.

Step 2 - Select the crossover type

Click on the Settings button , where you will see the types of crossover that Simetrik handles, whether it is a 1:1 or N:N behavior, what they consist of and the conditions that each one requires.

Keep in mind:

  • When setting up a crossover with N:N behavior, we recommend that you perform only a sweep and not include tolerances on the crossover keys.

  • In order to select N:N behavior, your reconciliation must have high or medium robustness.
