Sweep robustness
With this functionality you will be able to evaluate the strength and level of robustness presented by a set of rules that make up each sweep within the configuration of a reconciliation.
Check the robustness of sweeps
Step 1 - Set up the crossover
Once the process of preparing the sources is finished, click on the "Configure Crossing" button.
Set the matching rules that make up each reconciliation sweep. Initially the robustness meter will show a gray color, since the level of robustness for each sweep has not yet been determined.
Step 2 - Validate sweep robustness
Once the sweep configuration is complete, it will save this initial configuration and run the reconciliation. At this moment, Simetrik will determine the robustness of each sweep, and in the event of any sweep with weak robustness, Simetrik will issue an alert like the following:
At this point you will be able to decide whether to continue with the process as set, taking into account Simetrik's warning, or go back to the setup and add new rules to the sweeps that need to strengthen their robustness.
In case you want to add new rules to a sweep or eliminate one of those weak sweeps, either because of the warning thrown by Simetrik or because after executing a conciliation you want to change any of the rules, the robustness meter will change from having the color assigned by Simetrik (red for weak, yellow for medium and green for high) to again present the gray color of โindeterminate robustnessโ. This functionality will allow evaluating the level of security and strength of the sweeps each time changes are configured within them.
Once these changes have been configured, this new configuration will be saved and the tool will proceed to execute the reconciliation and the robustness meter assessment again.
In this way, every time you want to edit and/or execute new rules within any sweep, Simetrik will evaluate the robustness of each of these to guarantee its strength and results with better performance and clarity.
